Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centres Gym

Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centres newly refurbished gym provides access to the latest Pulse Fitness equipment consisting of new state of the art cardio featuring large screen consoles, pin-loaded resistance machines and a spacious and fully equipped free weights area. 

Gym Inductions

It is recommended that new users attend a pre-booked gym induction prior to use where an instructor will induct you on how to use the equipment.  More experienced gym users can use the gym without attending an induction however users will be required to sign and agree to a Health Commitment Statement before use which is available at reception. 

We want everyone's time in our gym to be enjoyable, so we ask all customers to remember the following when using the facilities:

• Customers must register at reception.
• Please wipe down equipment after use.
• Appropriate clothing and footwear is required.
• Please use the lockers in the changing rooms for your belongings.
• Our gym's aren't always manned. If you require assistance at any point, please speak to our reception team.
• In case of emergency, push the help alarm.
• During busy times, please be mindful of the length of time you spend on each piece of equipment to allow other gym users to complete their workout.
• Members are entitled to free health checks and complimentary fitness programmes. These can be booked at reception.

Active Youth

Young people aged 13-15 years can use the gym when accompanied by a parent/guardian.  

Memberships - Customers must be 16 years+ to join as a member.

Please note that during term time, the gym will be closed at specific times for school use (see timetable above).  During school holidays, the gym will remain open at all times and school closures will not apply.
