Green Solutions is a programme that offers support to businesses in South Staffordshire to enable you to take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Green Solutions is funded by the council’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund allocation and Staffordshire County Council.
You can access support for any of the following:
- Carbon Literacy Training. This FREE 8-hour training course will provide you the knowledge and skills to take action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. You can choose whether to attend an in-person or online course, and the training is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project, you can book a place on the course on their website.
- Energy Efficiency Review. This FREE review will look at your energy consumption and provide you with recommendations to save money and reduce your carbon emissions.
- Low Carbon Grant. A grant of between £1,000 and £20,000 (cover up to 50% of eligible costs) is available per business to implement any of the recommendations from the Energy Efficiency Review.

Submetering where monitoring of an energy consuming process could drive reductions in consumption.

Tuesday, December 10, 2024 and Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 9.30am to 1.30pm - online*.
Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 9.30am to 5.00pm - in person.
Tuesday, February 11, 2025 and Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 9.30am to 1.30pm - online*.
Tuesday, March 11, 2025 - in person at 9.30am to 5.00pm - in person.
Please note: our online CLT courses are for two four-hour morning sessions on consecutive days.
*Online course starts with an IT check at 9.15am.
