Rural hedgerows provide habitats for animals and connect humans to history.
By law, we protect rural hedgerows in South Staffordshire from unnecessary removal.

Before you remove a hedgerow in the countryside, you must submit an application for hedgerow removal notice. You can apply online using the planning portal website or download an application form.
