Local land charges search fees as from April 1st, 2025:

The following information relates to the costs of requesting local land charges searches from 1^st April 2025:

LLC1 Certificate

From 30th July 2022 South Staffordshire Council no longer provides LLC1 searches, this service transferred to HMLR and went LIVE on 11th August 2022.

CON 29R Residential

One or first parcel of land £122.40 inc VAT

• Each additional parcel £83.40 inc VAT

CON 29R Commercial

One or first parcel of land £228.00.00 inc VAT

• Each additional parcel £83.40 inc VAT

Con 29O

Questions 4-22 (per question) £43.20 inc VAT

• Limestone report £24.00 inc VAT

*No additional parcel fee is required when requesting only Con29O questions.

A VAT receipt will be issued with all search results.

   Staffordshire County Council advises that a postcode should be provided with every search request. Failure to provide a postcode could delay the processing of your search to the County Council.
4. Our current Turnaround Time is approximately 5 working days

A plan defining the boundaries of the land to be searched on is required with all searches, without exception.
