Each year, the council has a statutory requirement to publish its annual statement of accounts, which sets out the financial position of the authority on March 31st each year.
The statement includes a summary of money spent and received during the year and details the council's assets and how these are financed (our reserves).
The draft statement of accounts for 2023/24 have been prepared and await the final conclusion of inspections by our newly appointed external auditors, Azets, these are available to view below.

Public inspection of the annual statement of accounts for 2023/24 has commenced as detailed in the attached document and is due to conclude on Thursday 30 January 2025.
