From 1st April 2025 charges will be changing to unoccupied and unfurnished properties and uninhabitable properties.
Currently, unoccupied and unfurnished properties attract a 1-month discount of 100% and uninhabitable properties attract a maximum 12 month discount of 50%.
From 1st April 2025 both discounts will be removed.

*Any discounts applicable as of 31st March 2025 will cease with effect from 1st April 2025.

From 1st April 2026 the following empty home premium changes will come into effect which apply to long term empty properties and second homes. The premium is an additional 100% charge.
