Award-Winning Initiatives
Enterprise Team – Driving business growth through collaboration
Our Enterprise Team’s award-winning approach focuses on building long-term relationships with businesses through the South Staffordshire Business Partnership. By fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, we have created a supportive network that encourages investment, business growth, and community development.
Creating Brighter Futures – Empowering people through support & education
Launched in April 2023, the Creating Brighter Futures programme supports unemployed individuals in overcoming challenges to gain confidence and skills, helping them progress towards or into employment. It also helps those already in work to improve their career prospects through tailored support, training, and education opportunities.
Digital Services – Championing ‘Digital by Choice’
Unlike many councils adopting a ‘digital by default’ approach, South Staffordshire Council has pioneered ‘digital by choice’, ensuring that residents can access services on their terms. Our strategy prioritises inclusive, user-friendly digital services, empowering residents with 24/7 access while maintaining the high standard of face-to-face customer service.
