The Good Things Foundation is proud to present their annual Get Online Week, a digital inclusion campaign that has been running since 2007. This initiative supports thousands of people across the UK in getting online within a single week.
Throughout the week, local organisations and members of the National Digital Inclusion Network will host a variety of events designed to teach new digital skills. These skills will help attendees experience and understand the benefits of being online. Last year, over 865 events were held, supporting more than 16,000 people. This year, we aim to help even more individuals get connected.
From managing money online and learning about online safety to gaining basic digital skills for employment, hundreds of free community events will be held across the UK. You can view the full map of events here.
South Staffordshire Council will be holding their own event as part of this week, our Digital and Welfare Support Session is dedicated to enhancing digital skills and providing welfare assistance.
