Covid 19 day of reflection 9th March 2025

On Sunday, 9th March 2025, the UK observed the COVID-19 Day of Reflection, marking five years since the pandemic began. This day provided an opportunity for communities to come together to:

  • Remember those lost since the pandemic began.
  • Reflect on sacrifices and challenges endured.
  • Honour frontline workers, researchers, and volunteers.
  • Celebrate acts of kindness that brought light to difficult times.

From lighting candles to creating mini memorials, holding moments of silence, and sharing personal memories, people across the nation participated in meaningful ways to commemorate this significant chapter in history.
